    Gordon update

Alex Gordon hit a pair of two-run homers and walked for Double-A Wichita on Sunday.
It probably won't earn him a September callup, but Gordon has experienced quite the power surge lately and is now sporting a .320/.420/.581 line in 415 at-bats for Wichita. He has 24 homers and 21 steals.
I cannot wait to see this guy in a big league uniform. 24 homers and 21 steals? That's Beltran numbers in KC.

I expect to see Gordan next year and Billy Butler sometime in 2008 at the latest. If these two are the real deal as expected, that's a nice nucleas with Dejesus and Teahan.
