Brad Ausmus will stay very busy behind the plate, but Munson should get enough work to contribute in two-catcher, NL-only leagues. Astros purchased the contract of catcher Eric Munson.
Munson making the Astros as a No. 2 catcher is something we certainly didn't see coming a month ago. You are right about that too DK. I had completely forgot about Chavez catching for Oz. Strange too because it sounds like Munson can't hit worth a lick either.
