    Interesting stat

I found this stat cruising some message boards, and thought it was interesting.

    In the last 21 games,

the Astros have scored 5 or more runs 10 times; they are 9-1 in such contests.
the Astros have scored 4 or less runs 11 times; they are 0-11 in such contests.

That has everything to do with their pitching staffs ability to hold opposing offenses to a less than 5 run game. Good stat there Crazy!

The Astros needed another bat, but it doesn't look like they'll get it. I don't get it, because they have an excellent rotation, and a good core of hitters. Taveras has been as good as anyone could have hoped, Ensberg has regained his power, and Biggio has found his youth. The Astros could be tough with another piece or two on the offensice side. The Astros offense hasn't been great, but it's been better than I thought it would be after losing Jeff Bagwell.
