    Astros Lee's Season Is Over

Carlos Lee was diagnosed with a broken left pinkie finger after being hit by a pitch on Saturday.
He's expected to undergo surgery and miss 6-8 weeks. Unless the Astros somehow manage to come back in the NL Central without him, it seems unlikely that he'll play again in September. The Astros will probably make Darin Erstad their primary left fielder, with Michael Bourn playing regularly in center. Their entire offense takes quite a hit with the news, with Lance Berkman and Miguel Tejada likely to lose value. Hunter Pence may fare better since he'll get to move up in the order.
Lee was having a great season which is the ***** of it. He was hitting .314 with 28 bombs and a 100 RBI. Lee has four straight seasons with 100 RBI and it only took him 115 games to keep the streak alive. Bummer!

If they still had fans, this might have killed them off:

That trio of berkman, lee, and tejada was becoming epic, even if that team is crap.
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!
