    Lidge Has Knee Surgery

    Brad Lidge will undergo surgery Monday to repair a hole in the cartilage in his right knee.
    "This will alleviate the pain I was having and make me a lot stronger," said Lidge, who went 5-3 with 19 saves and a 3.36 ERA this year. Lidge will need around six weeks of rehabilitation, but he should be ready in time for spring training.
    The Astros can only hope this helps Lidge as they really can't find a reliable replacement. Hope he makes a full recovery both mentally and physically.
