Brad Lidge is pretty much pitching his way back into the closer role.

He's pitched three perfect innings since being stripped of the role, pretty much signalling he's back on track. They haven't even had a save chance since, so it's not like they've handed anyone else the job yet, anyway.

Probably won't be long now before he's back in it. Always good news when a dominating strong-throwing pitcher rights himself.

Today down 10-1, he faced Jose Vizcaino (fly out 8), Dan Ortmeier (ground out 3), Randy Winn (fly out 8).

May 15 down 10-1, he faced Mark Sweeney (ground out 4-3), Pedro Feliz (K), Ray Durham (fly out 8)

May 12 up 5-1, he faced Jamey Carroll (K), Todd Helton (ground out 3), Garrett Atkins (fly out 8).

Not too bad, not too bad. He'd better get back soon, Dan Wheeler and Chad Qualls aren't exactly a long term solution.
