This improves there offense from last year and like I have said before in the Nomar thread, the Dodgers still have to address their pitching. Colletti has done well in his first month ever as a GM.Originally Posted by Providence A's

Yea, he's done well until all the players get injured like what happened last year to DePoOriginally Posted by love_that_reefer
no man, obviously you don't watch him on the field. He is a great fielder and also has a great arm. throws 93 mph from short.Originally Posted by General
Plus he is a switch hitter and when he does hit a homerun it usually goes along way. He can also give you 15 HR as a leadoffman.
I don't watch him? Seriously dude, put the weed down and slowly back away,
Been watching him for 6 years. Career .965 fielding % at SS...not exactly Omar Vizquel. His arm? Hell yeah, he has a gun...but with Laroche not there anymore, you'll see a few throws sail into the crowd. A few more, that is. And also, if the Dodgers somehow make the playoffs, have fun with his .232 career BA in the post season.

All the players hurt? The whole NL West was an injury list pretty much and the Dodgers still finished 4th. The Dodgers have had problems with offense for almost a decade now.
Furcal
Lofton
Drew
Kent
Nomar
Cruz
Werth
Navarro
This lineup is ten times better than last year's. I expect Perez, Choi and Edwin Jackson goners.
$5 bucks says at least 3 of those guys will spend time on the 15 day DL.

Now that's stepping out on a limb I can say the same thing about just any team.
Well, its an old, overpaid and injury prone team.
Thank God they still have Gagne.

Gagne was injured last year. You have only picked out one overpaid guy who isn't old. You my friend are reaching.
Furcal-overpaid
Lofton-old
Drew-injury magnet
Kent-old
Nomar-overpaid, injury prone
Cruz-decent, but overpaid
Werth-Werth-less
Navarro-Well...lets just say he could fall out of a boat and not hit water.

Nomar-paid less than last year
Lofton-won't get overpaid and had a good year last year
Kent-still putting up those numbers
Drew-can't argue there
Furcal-overpaid but had to to get leadoff man
Mueller-not overpaid and plays great defense
Werth-sucks
Navarro-good defense
Cruz-overpaid but better option than Werth plus they can still get Sanders
Nothing you can say changes that they have improved from last year. The fact that Valentin and Choi won't be starting makes my point.
Improved, but at a really really high price.

Jeter's isn't much better. And his fielding pct is 966. but i'm just messin with ya.
If the Dodgers get some pitching I think they will win the West.
I hate them, and?
