    Orioles get catcher Ramon Hernandez

    The Orioles and free agent catcher Ramon Hernandez have agreed to terms on a four-year, $27.25 million contract. The deal is pending a physical and likely will not be finalized until next week, ESPN.com reported.

    According to my trusty calculator...

    27.25 divided by 4 = 6.8125

    So, the Mets can either take Paul LoDuca and give up Gaby Hernandez, or pay a draft pick, 600k more, keep Hernandez and get a better, younger catcher.
