Pirates Mets acquire Tike Redman from Pirates

Just heard it on the FAN, so it may be BS.

WFAN in New York is reporting that the Mets have acquired Tike Redman from the Pirates for cash.
This after his brother, Prentice, just left the organization, signing a minor league deal with the Cardinals. Redman is a better choice than Gerald Williams to act as a fifth outfielder, but that's all he is. The 28-year-old had a .277/.312/.378 line in 1,278 career at-bats with the Pirates. Well, I guess that's confirmation.

Sounds like Loaiza has signed with the A's at about 7 mil. per year.

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Imagine, the Reds were looking at Minaya but passed him up for O'Brien!?!
