    I can't see the Cards doing better than that for Giles. Yankees might go over the Jays head but I don't see that either. Then again, its better than Damon's projected deal.

    also when I read this it sounds like the Yankees are going after Giles because the Red Soox are not interested in him

    Delgado wouldn't be welcomed back after he decided he didn't want to wave his NTC to be traded to a contender in his last season with Toronto. so JP wouldn't want him back and I think the fans wouldn't welcome him back either I know wouldn't

    JP only offered Delgado a contract last year because he didn't want to look like an ass
