    Padres Rangers Padres Trade Rumor

    According to the SD Union tribune and Various TX Newspapers. The Padres and Rangers are exploring a deal that will send San Diego SP Adam Eaton to Texas for 1B Adrian Gonzolos and eithier OF Lance Nix or C Laird.

    I think that this would be a Great deal for the Padres.

    Gonzo has a bright future in the MLB and is a Gold Glove Calibur 1B

    Really don't understand why Texas would do this. When they'd probably be giving up too much. Eaton is a decent pitcher, but isn't quite equal return for Gonzales/Nix. It'd be a decent trade for both teams if it was more on the lines of Eaton for Gonzales/Laird.
