Not surprising with the Domb-Leyland connection to the 97 Florida Marlins. He's experienced guy, and as I said in my post in the Tiger forum it's exactly what the Tigers need. Tigers hit a brick wall with Trammel, they couldn't move any further. Leyland is the right guy that will hopefully bring this club to the playoffs and then to the world series. Leyland sounds like a great manager and already has me excited to see next year's Tiger team.
At this point,the only job I would want less than the Detroit job is Kansas City.No offense to either team or thier fans...I just wouldn't wanna be the manager with all the pressure of turning either team around on my shoulders.
