    Kirk Reuter DFA

    Giants designated LHP Kirk Rueter for assignment.
    Rueter went 2-7 with a 5.95 ERA in 20 games this season. The Rangers or another team in desperate need of pitching could be interested in him once he clears waivers, but he doesn't seem to have much left.
