    Correct. Though, his arm and his power have caused some fans to greatly overrate his other skills. Cespedes is a good player. Not sure he's a "great" player.

    I wouldn't say great either but comparing him to a platoon guy was a bit off imo.

    I agree it was a bit of a stretch, but I was trying to point out that we think of him as such a "great" player, when he really isn't.

    Lester will be in LA or NY next year. If Boston wanted to sign him, they would have. I'll be shocked if he ends up there.

    I think there are people out there that see his HR's, watch a .gif of his throws to home, and assume greatness.

    Like I say depends on the beholder.....our home run king has only 12 and the only one in double digits and we have no canon in the outfield....though Kiemaier has a decent arm. A Cespedes might be considered "great" in comparison.
