    Haren travels back to LA

This stint will be with the Dodgers. Await further comment from Mofo..................

Solid gamble, harder to give up homeruns there, could be an interesting bounce back candidate.

He was pretty solid at the tail end of the season. Good move if you ask me.

    Haren travels back to LA

Relative bargain in the current pitching market too.

If your LAD wouldn't u rather pay Hudson 2/26 than Haren at 1/10

That assumes that was an option.

Common sports fan fallacy: Player x signed for y contract with one team so that means he'd sign for y+ with any other team had only they offered.

Eh. Haren is five years younger and not coming off a broken ankle. I think the Hudson deal's a good one, but I think they're pretty comparable.

And to be fair, he's at the back end of the rotation. I know we are talking about the "Big Spending" Dodgers, but I am sure they are still looking at the bottom line. Plus, it's a one year deal, they'll be in the market again next year as we start FA discussion. I am sure they'll be looking again to spend big at something next season.
