    Also, 4 of those 8 runners came in that 6th, so he basically tired early and wasn't pitching around trouble for as much of the game as you implied.

    Also, in no world does 5 shutout innings not at least qualify for something "remotely good".

    Your original post made it sound like he did no better than Phil Hughes who gave up 5 ERs in less than 3 innings.
