Re: Yes, Pujols gets his own thread

Tim Brown of Yahoo! Sports reports that Albert Pujols will sign a 10-year deal with the Angels worth between $250-260 million.
That certainly qualifies as a shocker. Everyone was talking about the Marlins as the biggest threat to sign Pujols away from St. Louis just 24 hours ago, but the Angels came out of nowhere with what will be one of the biggest contracts in MLB history. According to Brown, Pujols made up his mind Thursday morning and the contract includes a full no-trade clause. Stay tuned for more details.
WOW! Angels went all-in and got their man! It's going to be weird seeing Pujols in a different uniform. This is hard to digest right now.

Maybe a mod can edit the thread title.

So, that's why he had to think about it, there was a higher offer along with the no-trade. At least with an AL team he could go to a DH role later, wow possibly $26 M in his 40's at DH???

Why? Just so you can watch him hit 43 homeruns and drive in 50 RBI?

Didn't he say that he wanted to be the highest paid player in the league? By him signing the 10 yr 250 m makes him below Arod's money.

He has Ackley. There could be 86 RBIs there.

    Re: Pujols to the Halos

I'm going to feel even worse if Albert Freakin' Pujols had always wanted to come to L.A. and the Dodgers were the preferred choice, and they let the opportunity pass them by all because for the last two years they've had their hands on their fucking cocks.
