I would love if the Rangers landed him because he's out of the NL
I wouldn't mind the marlins getting him out of the central.
But if St. Louis lands him I hope it's a massive deal that makes it difficult for them down the road

New York Daily News says the Marlins are out of the running but Rosenthal is saying that is not confirmed.
To me it all seems like win situation for the Cubs.
-If he stays in STL, they will be handcuffed for quite some time with him and Holliday.
-If he goes to MIA, he's out of the division.
-If he goes to the AL, ^^
-If he goes to the Cubs(far fetched, I know), we get the best hitter in the game and have a large enough market to build around him without handcuffing ourselves.
So....why does the same contract handcuff the Cardinals but not the Cubs?
Payroll.
Oh yeah, I forgot this isn't the NFL where the playing field is even in free agency.
Pujols' agent has told the Marlins they are out of the running. Pujols still has three $200 million+ offers. Cards, Cubs and Angels?
How awesome would it be to travel around with the agent through all of this. I mean, the dirty photos are cool, but this wheeling and dealing is cool as well.
So STL didn't offer a 10 year 220 mill deal? And Florida's massive offer is out of play?
What.
I think St Louis did, but have pulled it, and are now in negotiations with Pujols for some new figures.
Has Major League Baseball considered signing this country out of debt?
Bud Selig for President!
It's being reported that Pujols will not sign at the Winter Meetings. The Angels are still in on Pujols as are the Cards and a third mystery team.
