    According to the Marlins beat writer Joe Capozzi, they and Pujols' agent have been in a meeting for almost an hour.


    Supposedly a third 10 year offer has been made by a "mystery team".

    A friend of mine who guessed right (he says predicted) on Philly being the mystery team for Cliff Lee last year is saying the mystery team for Pujols is the Texas Rangers.

    Marlins have given their final offer while the Cards say they haven't. Marlins have given a deadline while the Cards have not. Pujols will have no-trade protection in St. Louis but not in Miami. Last night I was leaning towards to the Marlins signing him but now I'm leaning more towards St. Louis.
