Ok, not that Sizemore

Athletics acquired 2B Scott Sizemore from the Tigers for LHP David Purcey.
Well, this comes as a surprise. Sizemore was batting just .222 with one double and four RBI over his first 63 at-bats this season, but we still think he deserved a longer look in Detroit. Mark Ellis has really struggled offensively this season, but it's not clear if Sizemore will get much of an opportunity in Oakland, either.

The A's needed to do something damnit! I picked them to win the division and they are in last place!! They are too talented for this shit! Lots of players under-performing so hopefully this move will light a fire under one of them, Mark Ellis.

Scott Sizemore is one of those players that gives 110% all the time. He could be the spark plug that helps this bad offense.
