    Hmmm. Like getting rid of Preston and Byrnes is a decent player and I don't figure too expensive. Kennedy and Witasick did ok, but nothing too special.

    Looked a little more at Witasick and wish we hadn't given him up. He had a really good year so far, but whether of not he could have kept it up is debateable. That said, the Rockies are never going to win if they can't get a good bullpen together. I think we could have competed this year with a good bullpen. It doesn't help at all every time you trade any relievers who are working out.

    I don't really see Preston as the answer for the Nats. I don't expect Byrnes in Colorado for long. A's got a little pitching so who knows about these trades. I hope it all works out for the Nats.
