Jays acquire outfielder Rajai Davis from Athletics
Davis had 50 stolen bases last season.
Jays had 53.
I consider this a good move for the Jays.

Farq U!
Certainly adds a dimension since the immortal Fred Lewis led the Jays in steals with only 17.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!
The 2074 MSL NL Gold Glove Recipient at Third Base.
Where will he play in the outfield with Snider, Wells, and Bautista? Also Adam Lind is at DH.
We also have first base to fill.
I would hope to god not.
Not a bad move for the Jays. They add an element of speed who can create scoring opportunities instead of just waiting for the long ball to score. Davis is also a much better OFer than Lewis and has a strong arm. Good trade for the Jays. I like what the Jays have done so far.
I also have heard the Jays could be trying to move Snider.
Looking at other Jays sites and some seem to think that they gave up a lot for Davis. Others think this is just the start of bigger things to come.
In AA We Trust.
Two AA relievers who might or might not pan out for Davis who isn't a free agent til 2014? I don't see where the Jays gave up too much.
I am in agreement with you on this one too. Magnuson is 25, but his 6'7 height would be sweet on the mound.
After Cito set his development back, I don't know what to think.
I mentioned in this thread already about something bigger on the horizon. Snider being moved would half to be for that bigger deal that would come up. Davis as a replacement? It's hard to know.
And if you believe internet rumors, the 2 players being looked at are Greinke and Upton.
Which Upton?
