I read something that had both AGon and Bell going to the Red Sox.
Hey, we were long over due for more Adrian Gonzalez trade talks.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

That's never an encouraging sign when trade (or signing) rumors make it to your team's official site, a la the Dodgers with Juan Uribe.
Sure about that? The Angels' trade of Jim Edmonds is a classic counterexample. Plus, waiting until July allows you to get a better read of the prospects. However, the Padres would probably get more value in a trade if they move this winter rather than waiting until July.
I was more concerned with getting a better read of whether or not they'll need Adrian in 2011.

Apparently AGon is in Boston getting his physical taken. It appears this might become official later today. Anthony Rizzo and Casey Kelly seem to be the center pieces.
Bell no longer involved in the trade.
Casey Kelly and a couple other minor league top prospects look to be going back to SD.
Looks like the Padres got the Red Sox #1, 3 and 6 prospects. I'd say that is a fair deal for the Padres. Now it looks like Bell is the next to go.
may as well trade Bell since they obviously don't plan on competing this year.
anyone smarter than I on prospects know anything about Kelly, Rizzo, and Fuentes?
Kelly was 20 pitching in AA last year which can explain why his numbers aren't so attractive but from what I have read, he is a future top of the rotation guy. Not too many 20 year old's in AA pitching wise. Fuentes is a poor man's Ellsbury and Rizzo has a future at first base with the bat.
Youk to 3B and Beltre gone. Hopefully, he will sign with the A's not and not the Angels.
Please fall through. I really wanted to see him get to free agency. Or get traded to the Cubs.

Best part about this. St Louis has Albert cornered. Nowhere to go really.
