Seems to me that teams are looking at Haren as a cheaper option as compared to Oswalt and his contract extensions. Lots of teams seem to be in on Dan, but most of the talk centers around the Bronx as a likely destination.

Dan may even be traded before his next start, which is Tuesday. I may have to change the title of the thread before the end of the weekend.

As long as Montero isn't involved, I'd like the Yankees to get Haren. He's been very unlucky this year with a very high BABIP despite realiable K/BB numbers, and he's had a few seasons of success in the AL. I'm concerned with guys that only put up good numbers in the National League but Haren had his good days with Oakland.

The Angels have acquired Dan Haren from Arizona in exchange for Joe Saunders, Patrick Corbin, Rafael Rodriguez, and a player to be named later, according to Andrew Baggarly of the Mercury News (via Twitter). Pitcher Tyler Skaggs will be the PTBN, says the Arizona Republic. Corbin and Skaggs represent two high round draft picks from 2009 that the Angels gave up.

I was honestly expecting this to be the Dodgers more than the Angels, based on the thread title. Not so much because it was mofo or because it is more logical (given the McCourts, its not) but it seemed like the NL West likes to swap a lot more than other divisions.
