Halladay to Phillies, Lee to Mariners blockbuster agreed to

2:56pm: Heyman tweets that a three-way deal has been agreed to with Halladay going to the Phillies and Lee to the Mariners. The Phillies are now trying to sign Halladay to an extension. However, in a subsequent tweet, Heyman apologizes for a quick trigger finger and says that while the Ms are confirmed as the third team he is checking to verify they'll get Lee

    Pretty crazy horses man.

I'm just glad he's not going to Boston or New York.

It appears the Phillies are doing this to keep as much of their future core of Happ, Drabek, Brown, and Taylor, and they're sending Lee to where he won't come back and hurt them.

Wow, it would be a sick move by the Phillies if they lose Lee, extend Halladay's contract, and not lose many of their future. Phillies will be a scarier team to face next season.

Phillippe Aumont is a ****ing reliever. This just proves my theory that the aces always get traded for the worst available package of players.

Aumont has ace potential, but they moved him to the pen to fast track him through the minors.

If Aumont and Taylor are just the beginning of the return, Jays fans should be happy. Much better than the rumors about the package from the Angels.

Lee proved he can handle the playoffs with his nice outing last season. Can Halladay do that? He's never been in that position, so we don't know, it should be the ultimate litmus test for Halladay..
