Rays Rafael Soriano dealt to Rays

For Jesse Chavez, the reliever the Rays got for Iwamura. Not quite draft picks, but at least it's something for Atlanta.

nice pickup by the Rays. Turned a guy they didn't need (Awimura) into a very solid reliever in Soriano.

The Rays will get their closer in 2010 in Soriano. If he can stay healthy all season they will be very happy with who they got.

Good move Rays! Bad move Soriano? Or did he get more money in arbitration than he would have in free agency?

He chose the conservative strategy in accepting arby. Juan Cruz showed that it's a disadvantage for a reliever to have the scarlett Type-A.

That's all the Braves could of gotten out of Soriano? Seriously?

When you can't afford to keep someone at all, your leverage is decreased. They should be happy to get a nice arm, because they were never getting a draft pick.
