    MLB Bradley's Three Way

According to Phil Rogers of the Chicago Tribune, the Cubs, Mets and Rangers have discussed a deal that would land Milton Bradley in Texas.

The Mets would send Luis Castillo to the Cubs, Kevin Millwood would head to New York, and cash would be paid to the Rangers to cover some of the two years, $21 million remaining on Bradley's contract. We've heard similar rumors before and the amount of moving parts make it difficult to take too seriously. That said, it does make some sense. Stay tuned.
This deal makes a lot of sense and seems realistic. The Cubs need a second baseman, Mets definitely need a pitcher and Rangers would love to have Bradley back at DH. Rangers dumping Millwood helps them afford Bradley at a discount.

I doubt Castillo is that much better than Fontenot, both are pretty irrelevant at this point. But Castillo isn't the headcase and distraction that Bradley is, I think almost any deal they make in moving him is a good.

Bradley + Vernon Wells on the same team would be awesome. Who would Blue Jays fans get more discouraged with?

I would take that trade. Heck, I would take anything to get Bradley out of Chicago. However, the Cubs and the Rangers denied the rumor:
Elsewhere on the rumor mill, top officials at both the Rangers and Cubs on Friday denied a Chicago Tribune report that outlined a three-team swap that included the Mets. The proposed deal had Bradley going to the Rangers, who would ship Kevin Millwood to the Mets. The Cubs would get second baseman Luis Castillo from New York.

Fontenot sucked out loud in '09 while Castillo had a good year.

Why trade your pitching after you finally establish it?
