Jeremy Hermida got got by the Sawx
I used to often confuse Hermida with Jeff Francoeur. Both are from Atlanta and were drafted in the first round in 2002. Both strikeout a lot. Both have yet to live up to the hype. And both are around 6'3, 210 pound white guys.
And so begins the offseason with the Red Sox, Yanks, Chi-town, and Angels dominanting the important news and everyone else grasping at straws.

Rocco Baldelli all over again. Big hype, toolsy player, who plays for a Florida team traded to Boston. Boston has a thing for Marlins players that were supposed to be apart of the Marlins big team (before they went into a classic Marlin tradition of firesale.) Now if they could only get DTrain and Miggy Cabrera from the Tigers...

No big loss for the Marlins. Hermida has never lived up to his early hype and was going to get a raise in pay. Why not trade him? Mission's right here, he is nothing more than Baldeli's replacement.
Hermida's not bad, he's just not that good. He's a useful enough 4th outfielder. Don't compare him to Frenchy, though. Frenchy just sucks.
