    This is kind of a shock.

    Moorad tried to lure Towers to Arizona a few years ago.

    Whatever, though. I'm indifferent about it and will just see what happens.

    I am also surprised by this move. Towers has been a Padre since the early 80s when he was their top draft choice. Will he go to Arizona now? Maybe.

    Oh, yeah, lost in the shuffle was the draft guru Grady Fuson getting his walking papers. Guess he didn't find the next Jeremy Bonderman to boost his rep.
