I'd put the chances on Halladay at this...
Staying : 78%
Boston: 15%
New York: 4%
LA of A : 3%
Sounds about right.

I just don't see the Blue Jays trading him in division unless one of those teams are willing to give up the farm.
They're asking a lot from the Angels and Phillies, imagine how much they'd demand from Boston and New York (AL)?
You guys are crazy... you don't go this far and not make a move... his value is maximized right now... they will take the best offer they can work up, be it from Boston or elsewhere...they won't turn a better deal now just to ship him out of the division
considering rumors are flying that the Sox are still trying to get Victor Martinez, they may not have enough left to pry Halladay away. time will tell I suppose, but I don't see it happening. and imagine, a Red Sox fan calling other fans crazy. are you serious?
Yeah, I'm crossing the Dodgers off the list. I don't see them moving Billinsley or Kershaw, and I don't think Scott Elbert or James McDonald is enough to be considered a "frontline" pitcher.
I understand why people are still listing them, though.
Well CJ, according to homeboy Pedro Gammons, they Jays won't deal unless they "wowed" and there is no "wow" deal out there right now. Also, Ricciardi told your other homeboy Jose Sherman that he expects to keep Halladay and contend next year. both were just posted on MLBTradeRumors.com.
he's said that all the long; that they'd have to be "wowed" to move Halladay and that they don't have to move him. nothing has changed in that respect.
And by saying he'll "contend" next year, he means finish 4th again.

Lest we forget no team has gotten close to proper value in any Cliff Lee trade?
