Terrible move by the Rockies. Its not his fault they traded their best player and lost Jeff Francis for the year. Rockies were bound to suck and they are doing just that but its has nothing to do with Clint Hurdle.
Colorado found a way to get even worse. That's some skill. What's the next recycled trash that gets hired? Hal McRae?

But God do I miss his arguments with umpires. They always seemed to go like this:
"Now Bob, I don't agree with that call you just made."
"Shut it Tracy. I made the call. Deal with it."
"Mmm hmm. Ok, I'm going to head back to the dugout."
Throw in a couple of sad, defeated hand gestures in there and that's pretty much every Tracy argument.
Jim Tracy answers questions, including the tough ones from himself, at the press conference:
What I love about Tracy is that if he wanted to he can answer every question thrown at him about his team with "That's a question that we have to answer.""Am I sitting here saying to you that this is going to be a turnaround overnight?" Tracy said. "Maybe not. But I am going to do what I think has a chance to work."
"I went to Pittsburgh and inherited an awful lot of young players," said Tracy, who indicated he won't change his managerial tactics as the Rockies' new boss. "Can I sit here and tell you we should have been in the playoffs and we should have won the World Series? No. But I can sit here and tell you that over the course of the two years I managed that club, we were in position to win a lot more games than we won."
