How old is Estrada (28 yrs old)? How much does Furcal make compared to his production the past couple of years (5.6 mil, .283 obp)? Granted I dont know much about Lerew but theres no way Giants be dumb enough to trade Schmidt for what you offered them theyd want spects that arent already making a ton of money and not doing the job they are suppose to.

That trade is actually one I stole from another board. If what you're saying is true, would a deal like this be acceptable?

The Giants don't need a catcher. We have Justin Knoedler waited in the wings behind Torrealba. Matheny is signed for two more years. If you have a second baseman prospect, we would gladly take that.
