Not a great chance, but there is a chance. It'll be an interesting 3 way battle. Brewers/Phillies/Mets for only 2 spots.

I can't wait to see a team with Luis Ayala as closer make the playoffs.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

Another day, another Mets loss.
Listen. DK, I know you're the master of humor, but this is just getting stupid. Just because of last year, it's easy to pick on the Mets. I know it is, and don't think that I haven't thought about last year. But if you're going to ****ing bash the Mets every time they lose a god damn game, you're going to lose respect, and it's just going to get stupid(and I think it already has).
So, how about you use that sense of humor of yours(which is very funny) and find someone else to mock. Because the Mets don't need it. They're a different team from last year, they still lead the division, they still lead the wild card, and they will be fine.
Seriously, it's not me being a sore loser, it's just irritating that this is all you say. Where were you when we swept the Brewers? You're just a selective instigator. So, don't take this as an attack, but when it comes to the Mets, either come up with a real argument, come up with something THAT ACTUALLY TAKES HALF A BRAIN, or shut up.
Thanks.
It sure is. And it's always fun. They're the Mets.
Hey now! I did point out how good Ayala has been with the Mets when he saved those games against the Brewers at the beginning of September.
Uh, no? I like making fun of the Mets because, well, I've never liked them, they're an easy target, and it's fun. They have the most volatile bullpen in all of baseball, and now that Andruw Jones got put on the disabled list, the Mets bullpen is the most entertaining part of this baseball season. Yes, even more than the Yankees' struggles, because we've long ago put the nail in the Yankees' coffin.
And it's only getting better! There are still two weeks left! Buckle your seat belts!
And I'll pass on saying anything much about tonight's game until you're no longer PMSing. But Odalis Perez... oy.
I'm not PMS-ing. It's just stupid to keep making the same joke. You've said basically the same thing 4 days in a row. So either come up with something intelligent, or go away.
And I noticed that Luis Castillo wasn't in the lineup tonight; Jerry Manuel must have noticed:
Mets record with Luis Castillo in the lineup: 37-42
Mets record without Castillo: 46-25
Unfortunately, since Easley is hurt, Argenis Reyes is gonna have to start. And now that Tatis is out for the year, Murphy/Evans will have to play every day. So, we're screwed.
Eh. It was mediocre. If you had made it Willie Randolph, or Luis Castillo, or Pedro, I would have laughed.
You're a much too serious person.
No, I'm just furious about the 24/7 coverage of nothing but "THE METS ARE COLLAPSING AGAIN". It's tired and old. So, sorry if it seemed like I was taking it out on you, but I hate all the talk about the Mets, because there are so many other better storylines.
I disagree! Given what happened last year, given that they play in New York, and given that they're trying to fend off their bitter rivals the Phillies, who were there last year as well, the Mets-Phillies battle down the stretch is the most compelling and important storyline of these last two weeks, now that the Cubs are in. This is for sure guaranteed to be top-notch entertainment.
