You could tell on Showalter's face last night he was unhappy and had lost his patience with Drese. Still, this took some guts and I'd have to say I'm all too bummed out about this.

TR Sullivan is reporting that Ricardo Rodriguez will be called up for Sunday's game. I figured he would take either Astacio's or Chan Ho's spot, never thought it would be Drese.

Interesting day today in Rangerland. BTW - Galloway mentioned tomorrow his column will be about Buck and how it was his call to run the draft, I'm willing to bet today's transaction was also his call........

I got to see Rodriguez pitch against the Yankees last year at Yankee Stadium. He was dealing on that Saturday afternoon. I hope he rebounds from that injury and do well.
