    This has been in the works for months. The Yankees probably won't carry Woodward unless they decide to go with Wilson Betemit as their primary first baseman. Betemit's already the top backup at the other three infield spots.
    I don't really care for Woodward and he didn't do much for Atlanta IMO the Yankees can have him.

    Why do the Yankees want a guy that hit .199 and 1 HR last year? His career batting average is .243, why the **** are we considering picking this guy up?

    Beats the hell out of me. I don't know why Atlanta even wanted him in the first place.

    Easy, it's a minor league deal. I don't have any problem with this, he's a good utility man to have around...he was damn good with the Mets for a season.
    I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
