    Braves Kotsay heading to Atlanta?

According to Yahoo!Sports-Rumors, Mark Kotsay could be heading to Atlanta. Nice fii-in in CF for defense at least for A. Jones.

Kotsay's certainly not a bad player, and while he doesn't provide the power of Jones he's not going to hit .220 either.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

He has gone down hill since 2004. I don't have high hopes for him and Willie Harris showed more in one year than he has in 3.

Before someone says it, I know about his surgery.

Yes he did. I didn't like that and I'm very surprised he was DFA'd. I believe he proved he could help the team. He wasn't given a shot at CF and the little he did play in CF he did good last season.

I thought I saw that. He did have a nice year for the Braves. I thought he would stick around for Bobby Cox.

He liked it in Atlanta. He from the same place as Hank Aaron. I can't remember w/o having to look it up though. I think it's Northern Georgia.

If I remember correctly ChopTalk did an interview with Harris a few mags back.

DC already has a full OF with Milledge, Pena and Kearns with Young and Dukes.

Young is likely to play some at 1B, but I agree that Washington has a full outfield. Maybe they will deal one or more of these guys for pitching?
As to Kotsay in Atlanta, he isn't a bad fit there. He plays hard and isn't bad in a clubhouse. He can play any of the 3 positions, but will likely be in CF for the Braves.

With Johnson coming back, Young looks to be an odd man out.
