Twins Finally Make Trade?

Let's not kid ourselves. The Devil Rays could've gotten Chuck James, at best, for Rocco Baldelli, and that's only if the Braves' John Schuerholz had soured on James. Schuerholz is like DiamondDave in that any player he wants to trade is usually someone you shouldn't want.

Schuerholz can be kind of a dick like that, but the trade rumor picked up a lot of heat and at several points seemed close to being done. I'm not too big on rumor-mongering but that deal had been talked about for like 8 months before it went down, and it's hard to see it holding so much steam if it was never close.
