Forget about attempting to make the "big deal". They ought to start making that "smart deal". I'd be fine with getting the Angels' Reggie Willits on the cheap if a deal with Aaron Rowand can't be reached.

I meant "big" as in a deal that make sense for the team. The Angels need SOMEBODY/ANYBODY to help out Vladdy, now they have Hunter.

Dodgers don't really have to make that big deal. Rowand would be great but I can't call that a big deal since he would be making just a little more than Pierre annually. They can still trade for Santana or Cabrera but this team has a lot of young talent and can compete with keeping that talent. Has Kent made a decision yet on whether he is coming back or not?

I agree for sure. I don't see why they would go the other way around here. Mathews is one heck of a glove in the outfield. Great signing!

I never said it wasn't, just backing the claim that their outfield is sick.

Although...i'll see if I can post a couple Hunter over-the-fence homerun-stealing grabs just for S&G's.

I know I just felt like sharing what I thought was a better catch.
