No real help at first base there. Better off getting Hillenbrand.

Saw this coming, not a surprise.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

It will be nice to see him in a Braves uniform again but I don't see him helping the team that much.

Jeeze that guy is really set on playing until he's 50, isn't he? Not much of an improvement IMO.

I would. I would hang up after a while and I might try to stay within the organization somewhere.

I didn't say that his being almost 50 was a bad thing. Like you said, if I could play at that age, then for sure I would. I was suprised that he was signed so quickly. I thought there'd be a little more time inbetween signings...6 days isn't that much, IMO atleast. Sorry if you misunderstood me.

I wasn't surprised that Franco got a standing O. Atlanta likes him and he has done good things with Atlanta.

He is a good guy to have on your bench. He is a baseball junkie (can't think of a better term there, it is meant as a good thing.) He just loves the game and is like an extra coach on the bench and the field. Surprised the Mets let him go.

thanks. just wanted to make sure that you understood that I was NOT trying to be a jerk, that;s all. I try not to be a jerk, I am a smart a** most of the time though, just a heads-up for the future. That is why I gave you some reputation points just to let you know that I didn't want to upset you with your opinion.

Re: Franco signs with the Braves

Thanks for the explanation. I'm not upset about your post, I really appreciate the fact that you cared enough to offer a reason for your post, but in the future you don't have to give a reason for your posts...atleast not to me. IMO, you didn't do anything wrong, so I don't see any reason for you to feel guilty, if that's what you were feeling. But it's no big. Friends?

    btw-ty for the rep points!
