    I think this is a good pick-up for the Cardinals. Every team in baseball knows they need pitching, why don't they ask for more than a player to be named later.


    Maroth still has potential.

    I like the move as he will be a better #5 guy than Wellmeyer. Carpenter's coming back soon which is going to boost this team back into contention.

    This is a big trade for the Cardinals they get a good quality young starter for basically nothing. And since they rotation is in such shambles they really need him.

    that is what scares me as a Brewer fan!

    that is all the Cardinals need to get, a glimmer of hope. there is A LOT of PRIDE on that team.

    They do have some good hitting, If Carpenter can come back and Looper with Maroth that would be a pretty good 3 in the rotation.
