    Bengie Molina now a Giant

The Giants and Bengie Molina have agreed to terms on a three-year deal, according to Yahoo! Sports.
They learned nothing from Mike Matheny. Absolutely nothing. Molina is rapidly turning into a below average defender, and he could also lose it offensively at any time. Plus, there just didn't seem to be anyone else interested. That the Giants are giving him a three-year deal anyway is going to qualify as another one of the worst moves of the winter.

Good. What the Giants needs now is to get older.

He's actually younger than Mike Matheny, I believe.

But he'll be replacing Eliezier Alfonzo as the starter, I'd bet.

Molina is 32 and Matheny is 36. 4 year difference.

Why not stick with the other bum, at least he shows some promise of hitting the ball. Just some, not much. A tad.

Molina and Alfonzo should hit over 30 homers combined. I see Molina playing 110-120 games just like he did last year. I finally like a signing by the Giants this year. Molina will make a nice backup in year three of this deal.
