Phillies Phillies and Adam Eaton agree to a 3yr deal

According to ESPNews, the Phillies and Adam Eaton have agreed to a three-year, $24 million contract.
Eaton rejoins the team that drafted him. This could end up being one of the better starting pitcher signings of the offseason. If Eaton's finger problems are behind him, he's at least as good of a bet for the future as Vicente Padilla, Ted Lilly or Gil Meche, and the Phillies apparently were able to get him without offering up a fourth year.
    Pretty decent deal.

Is he any good? I've never seen him before.

Eaton's usually pretty good until the 6th inning when he wears out.

I think he'll get killed in Philly, though. That park's too small for him.

Sane contract, probably won't work out, but in a market like this, why not try?

If he stays healthy, nice pick up for the Phils!

It's now official. The Rangers gave up Chris Young and Adrian Gonzalez for nothing.

I guess we still got Aki out of the deal though. I forgot about him. I still was totally against the trade from the beginning, more so now than ever.

But getting back on track, not a bad signing at all for the Phillies. If Eaton can stay healthy he should be able to earn his $8 mil a year. He's usually a pretty solid pitcher.

I'm still shocked to this day that Chris Young was included in the deal.
