    Braves get Daryle Ward

    Braves acquired first baseman Daryle Ward from the Nationals for RHP Luis Atliano.

    The Braves felt they needed a power bat for their bench, and they got one in Ward, who had a surprisingly strong .311/.393/.573 line and six homers in 103 at-bats for the Nationals. He shouldn't have any fantasy value while being used primarily as a pinch-hitter. Sep. 1 - 12:35 am et
