    Giants Giants acquire Mike Stanton from the Nats

    in exchange for 19 year old right handed pitcher Sharion Martis.

    Martis threw a no-hitter for the Netherlands in the WBC.

    Martis is actually a pretty good project spect. Mid 90s fastball, good curve(with potential to turn into a plus pitch) and a passable slider and change.

    Real good pickup, especially for Mike Stanton.

    Giants want to win now, not 2-4 years down the road.

    Also rookie prospects are a coin flip, you never know what your going to get from them.
