I just don't get it. Did the Reds think they needed middle relief that bad?

If they're going to be that desperate can the Padres trade them Linebrink for Adam Dunn?

And the Reds didn't even force Bowden to take Eric Milton.

But the Padres GM being Kevin Towers nullifies Dunn in the equation. It's more likely Linebrink for Scott Hatteberg.

You're talking about the same Kevin Towers that raped the Rangers for Chris Young and Adrian Gonzalez, right?

Yes, the same one who "raped" the Pirates for Brian Giles.

    touche

that one's not looking quite as bad anymore with Ollie still struggling.

It would be nice to have Bay, though.

Freel and Phillips would like to argue about that one.

This one is pretty bad but at least it isn't as bad as the kazmir zambrano trade.

I don't think anything is as bad as the Kazmir-Zambrano trade.

At least nothing in my lifetime.

Then again, Fred McGriff for Melvin Nieves wasn't too pretty

This is the first thing I heard about when I woke up.

I have masturbated seventy eight times since then.

The worst trade in my lifetime can't be Zambrano-Kazmir.

Bagwell for Larry Andersen? Bags is a no doubt HOF.

Derek Lowe and Jason Varitek for Heathcliff Slocumb disappoints me every day.

As does Jay Buhner for Ken Phelps.

Billy Taylor for Jason Isringhausen and Terrence Long was bad too.

All the Drew Henson trades sucked for the Yankees.

And the original Brian Giles trade, where he was swapped straight up for Ricardo Rincon.

Michael Young and Darwin Cubillan for Esteban Loaiza.

Every Trade ever made by the KC A's and the NYY.

to be fair, I don't really think the Kazmir-Zambrano trade was THE worst in my lifetime (although it's gotta be up there) I just like to point out the riddiculousness of that trade whenever I get the opportunity.

Andy Sheets for Phil Nevin looked pretty good for a few years.

More recently, Doug Mirabelli for Josh Bard and Cla Meredith is looking to be lopsided.
