    OAKLAND - In another sign that Barry Zito will likely be an ex-Athletic after the season, he has signed on with baseball's top agent, Scott Boras. The decision was made this past week.
    Bye-bye Barry...I hope the money will keep you happy like it has for Tejada and Jumbo when they were going through tough times

    oh, and most likely he'll just walk as he gives the A's a shot at the playoffs and will improve their draft position next year...

    Unfortunately, Bora$$ is his agent, so that's not happening, that is unless JR holds up to his word of spending all the revenue increase the team sees.

    I could see him going to Toronto (I know, of all places!!) but theyve a committment to expand salary wise for at least another season, and their first half of the season this year may give them enough hope to think the addition of Zito could give them a legit shot at a playoff spot
