Yeah. I ended up beating like a hall of fame list of GMs in that league...you, Slyder, Saber, and Dave. Lost to General though. Eh. Had to get through Mission's marlins and stave off PA's cubs in the division.

even hijacks are susceptible to being leo'd
:leod:
This one might be my worst since returning to sim leagues. Though, I don't know how my last few as DET worked out, since I stopped following them.
Traded from Philadelphia to Chicago (N) on 6/21/2013 (Going to CHC: LF Andrew McCutchen, LF Tom Moyers. Going to PHI: RF Delmon Young, P Higinio Ortiz, P Jamie Vermilyea)
It's only bad cause I got lucky with Moyers. Fluke year aside, Young and McCutchen have sucked
Mach, if that's the worst trade you've made, well then you're good. That ain't shit.
It's not an issue of being bad, it's that I thought we were talking about a different player, and agreed to the deal, and I thought it'd be a dick move to back out at that point (I even asked Leo about protocol). I've made a lot of bad trades. The original Chipper trade. The Sievers trade. But I did it cognizantly.
And just to be clear, I don't blame or fault CJ at all, he's fine here. My swearing post wasn't mad, just more boiled over frustration with myself for not paying better attention.
Regardless of the magnitude or dynamics of the mistake it's just one mistake.
Don't quit on something because of a mistake, learn from it.
That's just a case of misunderstanding then.
I felt bad, and almost retracted but 1) The title of the PM chain said "Anderson", and 2) the other guy he offered I said, no, no, no... so like wasn't sure if it was real confusion or cold feet...
That being said Mach, if you want him back I'd be as flexible as I could to make it happen
Oh yea here's probably one of my worst ones recently.
Traded from New York (A) to Los Angeles on 1/29/2050 (Going to NYY: P Lew Burdette. Going to LAD: 2B Bertram Grover Weeks, LF Monte Irvin, CF Willie Mays Hayes, #13)...
Granted the other deals using pieces from this deal helped lessen the blow but I should have gotten one of your pitching prospects or #3 at least.
Also it wouldn't look so bad if Feldman didn't immediately die (the season before the first round rescue was implemented).
It was honest confusion. I usually riff off of PMs because I'm lazy with titles as a few PMs with Kingdom and Leo can attest to. I think we had last left off with that player who shall not be named a couple days before so I was continuing the conversation chain, but like I said, I should have been a ton more specific. I take full fault and blame and I don't think you did anything wrong/uncool/douchey/whatever.
