So I suggest trying your hand at manual. But keep in mind, there really isn't a perfect way and everyone ends up seeing a young player get slaughtered in training camp. Think of it like OOTP during the regular season when a young stud randomly loses talent. Those frustrations are real. I have no right or wrong way of doing TC, I just don't think the AI is ideal (also note if you have a player out of position, maybe say Jason Kidd is listed as a PF for whatever reason, the AI is gonna try and work on rebounding, inside scoring, and post D)

If it looks like your TC has already been done, it might just be last season's TC, just click edit on the far right of the player. You will have a screen with all your players, a column with the number 25 for each and then 6 different columns after that to divy up the 25 points. Think of it like OOTP, you alot the points and they must equal 25. The higher the number in the category, the more likely hood he has a chance of improving or at least not declining (if he's older). Here's a quick breakdown of those six cat:

INS is inside scoring and rebounding
SHT is not shit but rather jump shot, 3 point shooting, and free throw shooting
    HND is handling and passing
PSD is post defense and shot blocking
PRD is perimeter defense and stealing
CND is conditioning, i.e. the athletic ratings - this is extra important to keep from declining in older players (30+), much like real life, when this starts to go, so does the player's performance. Players also gain weight season to season, which is funny when you look at players who have been around for a long time.

You will see some players improve in areas, decline in areas, maybe do nothing at all, players epicly crash, and players suddenly becoming something interesting. This is why I will always tell anyone that asks me, refrain from making big trades prior to TC because you just never know what will happen.
Where on the site do you make your changes?

I don’t think mine is working. Nothing happens when I hit submit.

    Re: Fast Break Basketball league

You may have noticed that I have campaigned for bringing back the summer league. What this is, is an opportunity to send up to 2 of your young players to "summer league" for potential extra development. All you have to do is pick 2 eligible guys (rookies and sophomores only). What happens here is that in a separate file, these players are sent through an extra training camp and whatever development occurs there is added on.

To find this: go to Admin > Team Admin > Summer League

It might not be updated right yet. Mine was mostly. Jim Jackson was still listed for some reason but I wouldn't pick him since he's good. A good use of this would be using it on your recent first round selections if you have some. JC could look at KG and Martin for example, Mofo maybe Stoudy and Piatkowski/Parks, etc. etc.

Also is a good chance to repair guys that got wrecked, like a Jalen Rose or something, I can't think of any other high picks recently that sorta died but yeah. good opportunity to try and fix them.

I just looked. It has Sabonis eligible lol.

And Russell and Peeler. I’m assuming it hasn’t been updated yet?

    Re: Fast Break Basketball league

I think GRob and Theo for the Pacers? Would it be smart to send Porter to make him blue again and hope to trade him?

I just looked. I can send Penny, GRob, Horry, Ward, Theo, and Mackey.

    Who would you recommend?

Now I got it in the right post. LOL

Porter won't be eligible. Ratliff and I think I'd consider the Big Dawg because he has so many C grades, a good TC could make him good to great. He's only a second year guy so he'd be eligible

Thanks! So... confirming there is no point in sending Penny to the summer league?
