Before the league folded it was a really great league with almost every team active. Hopefully with it starting back up we can get back to that point.
We could be ready to add 4 Murrrrrcans. Mofo will get to offend the whole world finally lol
If they would otherwise have a vacant team then count me in and I'll give it a go.
But I won't take a team from someone else who's interested and is more adept to basketball and basketball sim leagues.
I'll keep you posted. I didn't know there were forum issues. In the past, newcomers would just sign up and post in a waiting list thread.
The commish says you all should be able to register now. Sign up and you'll want to post in this thread: Waiting List | VaV Hoops
Just say the current CavsGM sent you.
Sweet.

For those that are not familiar or don't remember from KoBe's league,
FBB operates in many ways like OOTP 6.5, in terms of typical development concepts (i.e. older players slowly or swiftly lose talent, you can use training camp to try to develop players, progression/regression can be random, etc). But there is no development during the season, so it's not gonna kill off your 22 year old stud- that just might happen in the offseason. The site utilities let you micromanage your teams as if you had the game, so if you play around with 2K-Live games, it's like that- minute distribution, style of play, depth chart, etc. Just like OOTP, you can easily see the ratings for every player to make it helpful when it comes to managing your roster, free agency, trading, drafts, etc.
The league rebooted last summer after we had made it into like the year 2018 or so. We started back in the early 90's and had a huge fantasy draft. That's why the team names are name only. Draft classes tend to be fairly realistic, aligned with past real life draft classes. But that does not mean player X always turns out great or not great. The development can be frustrating just like OOTP 6.5 (or joyeous).
Trading is also pretty easy, you can use the site utility to make offers to any team and they can accept or decline or counter (or sometimes not respond, yes that sometimes happens here too). You don't have to bother sending PMs or track someone down on a messenger, which, yay.
I went ahead and registered.
If there's a ton of demand and I'd be getting in the way of someone more adept to basketball leagues I'll not take a team. Otherwise I'll give it a go.
I registered as well. Says in pending status.
I think you are all approved. Don't forget to post in the waiting list thread (just ignore the Hornets and Celtics) (always ignore the Celtics, he's the euro version of mntwinsfan most days)
And lol at mofos name
