With some deliberating, the New York Giants organization came to the conclusion that now would be an optimal time to draft a QB. After trading away Ryan Nassib earlier in the offseason, we thought now would be a good time to pick a young QB that can sit behind Eli, learn, and mature. We determined earlier that Nassib did not fit want we wanted in a QB; a young man with a cannon arm, good mobility, and real toughness. We think that Stephen Morris can absolutely deliver that in the near future. Although he had a really rough senior year, he positively showed a lot of good things in his junior year and in spurts as a senior. I think it should not be forgotten that he was injured during 2013 and this affected his accuracy. But he played through it, showing great toughness and never giving up. Our favorite thing about Stephen is that he is a leader in the huddle and has a howitzer as an arm. He can make any throw on the field and set his receivers up. Although we hope he does not contribute this year, we have no doubt he can be a starter going forward, in the future.
